Balcony overlooking river, helpful staff, coffee and tea-making facilities, clean and modern room and bathroom with lovely shower, central location great for touring all surrounding areas.
If I am being picky, metal shutters for windows were noisy to open and close.

I had 1 night in Libourne, spending the time here lovely. It was functional, brand-new and with tea and coffee. All the staff was knowledgeable and excellent, fixed my issues. The location was stunning - so close to a quay very close to the junction of the Dordogne as well as lovley restaurants and bars.
The bathroom was quite small, I didn't like it.

The staff at this hotel were always nice and helpful. Free Wi-Fi in the hotel common areas and in our room was a real bonus. The room was neat and clean, however it was a little small (a common problem in France). The hotel also has a good sized parking area that is secure (the parking costs a fee per night). The bar area was a nice retreat away from our room when we were at the hotel; they had a reasonable wine list and a good snack food menu. The express breakfast the hotel offers is a good deal for those not wanting a buffet breakfast.
We found the bed in our room to be a little hard and uncomfortable. This is a problem we've encountered with the Mercure chain across France. My husband and I stayed here because it was a cheaper option than staying in Saint Emilion. Next time we come, we'll be paying the extra money and staying in or much closer to the beautiful Saint Emilion. The town of Libourne was a little disappointing...

The staff were very well spoken and courteous. Hotel was modern and updated. Highly recommended as a base point for day trips around St Emilion, Bordeaux and the rest of the wine region.

Great location and very professional and warm staff. Rooms were respectable, but very clean. Can be challenging to find for first timers to Libourne. Would definitely go back.

Got lost because of the work goping on under the bridge which meant the road was closed. I also take part responsibility for being in error as to where you were sited confusing one river with the other!!We would find it better if the hotel had more prominent signage.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the charming town of Saint Emilion and enjoying the beautiful views of the Dordogne river. the clean and comfortable rooms provide a relaxing stay, with tea and coffee making facilities and a very good shower in the bathroom. the friendly staff ensure a pleasant experience, and the breakfast selection is quite good, with a variety of options including juice, cereals, toast. the hotel offers safe parking and a quiet location near the river.
The hotel lacks a restaurant, but the bar does offer some snack options in the evening, although some dishes like the chicken risotto have received mixed reviews.
